27 hours later…
In 27 hours, I will board Singapore Airlines SQ1 (SFO to HKG) with five of my closest!! For the next 6.5 weeks, I will be decompressing in Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and Cambodia - the first half with friends, second solo.
I’m almost ready - definitely procrastinating at the moment - but want to share a few thoughts with you before getting back to packing:
- Travelers in far off lands (and Facebook) can never replace you guys! Can’t wait to see you when I get back.
- Leaving behind my iPhone is going to make me very unhappy! I’m sure I’ll get over it. ;) I’ll have my old BlackBerry Storm2, afterall… now let’s see if I can find a pre-paid data plan.
- Travelling with a backpack instead of a rolling bag for the first time means packing less. Less electronics, less variety, less shoes. Less is more!
